Our flush floor heat registers are designed to blend seamlessly with your flooring. Made from the same material as your floors, these registers eliminate the visual disruption of traditional metal or plastic vents, offering a cohesive and sophisticated finish.
A standard register sits proud of the floor and announces itself in a colour that never quite matches. A flush vent sits level with the surrounding boards and carries the same grain, stain and finish, so the eye reads one continuous floor. In an open-plan main floor with six or seven registers in view at once, that difference is the difference between a finished room and an almost-finished one.

How To Order
Ordering flush floor vents, step by step.

Bring us your offcuts
Drop your leftover flooring at the shop. One or two spare planks is usually plenty for a register.
- 02
Give us the duct opening
Measure the hole in the subfloor, not the old vent cover. We'll confirm the finished dimensions before cutting.
- 03
We build and finish it
The vent is milled, assembled and finished to sit flush with your floor height.
- 04
Drop it in
Collect it from the shop ready to install. No adhesive and no fasteners — it sits in the opening under its own weight.
Common Questions
Questions we're asked about flush floor vents.
What size vents can you make?
All the standard duct sizes — 4x10, 4x12, 6x10, 6x12, 2x12, 2x14 and so on — plus anything custom. Older Calgary homes in particular often have openings that match nothing on a big-box shelf, and those are exactly the ones we're built for.
Do I need to send you my flooring?
Yes — bring it to the shop. That is the whole point: the vent is made from your material, which is the only way to get a genuine match. Most installers set aside offcuts at the end of a job. If yours didn't, get in touch anyway and we'll talk through the options.
Will it be strong enough to walk on?
Yes. The face is supported by a frame underneath and is built for normal household traffic, including a busy hallway or kitchen.
Can I still control the airflow?
Yes — we can fit an adjustable damper underneath so the register opens and closes like any conventional vent.
How long does a custom vent take?
Most orders turn around within a week of your material reaching the shop. Larger jobs and unusual sizes can take longer, and we'll tell you up front rather than after you've committed.
