What we see in Strathmore homes

Strathmore's mix leans practical. There is a solid core of older town housing, a set of newer developments like Lakewood, Edgefield and Aspen Creek, and — distinctively — a real number of acreage and farm properties in Wheatland County around the town. Acreage homes change the brief. They're often larger, frequently renovated in stages over years rather than all at once, and they take genuine wear: boot traffic, dogs, and a mudroom that earns its name. That pushes flooring choices toward durable luxury vinyl plank and engineered hardwood, and it makes the transitions matter for a practical reason as well as a visual one. Getting to us

We serve Strathmore and the wider Wheatland County area, and it is a longer run than our closer towns — about an hour to our shop at 262 Poplar Hill Drive in northwest Calgary. Because of that, most Strathmore customers plan one trip in with the material and one trip back for the finished pieces, usually tied to something else they were coming into the city for. We don't deliver, so it is worth getting the whole order together before you set off rather than discovering a missing piece later.
