A stock nosing in a near-enough colour draws the eye to every single tread. One milled from your own flooring simply disappears into the staircase.

How To Order
Ordering stair nosing, step by step.

Bring your flooring in
Stair nosing uses more material than a vent does. Plan on roughly one plank per tread, and bring it all in one trip.

Measure every tread
Stairs are rarely identical, especially in older homes. We ask for each tread individually rather than assuming.

We mill the profile
Each nosing is shaped to your tread depth and flooring thickness, then finished to match.

Install
Collect the nosings from the shop ready to fit. Your installer glues and pins them in the usual way.
Common Questions
Questions we're asked about stair nosing.
Can you match flooring I bought years ago?
If you have leftover material, yes — that's the whole method, and it works no matter how old the floor is. Without offcuts, an exact match to a discontinued product is genuinely difficult, and we'd rather say so than sell you a near-miss.
What's the difference between flush and overlap nosing?
Flush nosing sits level with the tread for a continuous surface and a cleaner look. Overlap nosing sits on top of the flooring and is more forgiving of an uneven substrate. We make both and will tell you which suits your staircase.
Do you do the installation?
We manufacture. Most of our work goes to flooring contractors and installers who fit it themselves. If you need someone to install it, ask and we'll point you toward installers in the Calgary area who use our pieces regularly.
How many stairs can you do at once?
There's no practical cap. We regularly supply full staircases and multi-unit builds. Larger runs just need more of your material and a little more lead time.
